This sunny Port Angeles Wedding was stunning! The bride prepared for the day in a room bustling with sweet bridesmaids, family, and friends at the Olympic Lodge. A flurry of activity surrounded Cortney as she got ready. Cortney’s mother helped her don a beautiful gown with a cascade of ruffles for the skirt, finished with a beautiful corset and lace appliqués. 
After putting the finishing touches on their hair, makeup, and country outfits of pink dresses, boots, and denim jackets, the ladies met up at a private residence with a troupe of groomsmen decked out in their country best. Cortney and Kevin opted to see one another prior to the ceremony– I love that they chose to have a few quiet moments together as they prepared to say their vows in marriage!
You can tell Cortney and Kevin are a couple that has a lot of fun together! They love to laugh, and it shows in their portraits. They surrounded themselves with a wedding party of good friends to help them enjoy the sunny day.
Cortney & Kevin put so much thought into their ceremony details. The guests were welcomed by a beautiful handcrafted timber arch, rustic wine barrels and wagon wheels, bales of hay, and containers brimming with white baby’s breath. The decor was a perfect complement to the location— an unbroken field of buoyant daisies and softly waving grass under the shimmering midday sun.
Family and friends gathered around the bride and groom and celebrated their marriage as the sun crept towards the horizon. They cut into an incredible layered cake decorated with fresh berries and fruit, and dusted with sugar. It was the perfect, relaxed gathering for this laid-back couple!
